Welcome to your ethereal superblast, your LUSHapalooza, your LUSH Revival begins here!

For a decade they were LUSH, a British band who's music has withstood the test of time. They bucked stereotypes, were reviled by the press, more often dismissed or misunderstood than recognized for their musical genius. Some 19 years after the disbanding, that music refuses to go away, and is attracting a new generation of listeners.

And now, as of September 28, LUSH IS BACK!!!

I can't pinpoint the exact moment when Lush found me (was it by the local college radio, or through my fave indie/import record shop?), but the dreamy melodies struck me down like an ethereal sledge hammer. I sought out the Gala album, the Black Spring ep issued soon afterward, and obsessed over each consecutive release to follow... I've been a jealously loyal follower ever since.

This blog is the latest reincarnation of my humble (and dreadful!) Lush site first published back in '97. Oh well, perhaps this time I can get it right ;P
